Morning Roses - 8" by 6" Mixed Media Painting

"Lorena, you look as fresh as the morning!" 

That's a direct quote from my favorite fictional character August McCrae from Lonesome Dove. Fans of the television miniseries might recall the line delivered superbly by Robert Duvall to a 20ish-year-old Diane Lang (Lorena).  Worth a watch. 

Anyway these peach roses are just that - fresh as the morning! Unlike most of my other roses, these are best admired in brighter rooms like an entryway or a common room. Perhaps even an east-facing guest bedroom!

This mixed media oil pastel piece is framed and matted in a white shadowbox and embellished with three handmade acrylic white rosettes. It comes with a complimentary set of damage-free wall hanging hardware. 8" by 6" Mixed Media Painting, 1" deep.
