Tapestry Roses - 8" by 6" Mixed Media Painting

There is a slightly medieval vibe to this piece. The background, while vibrant, calls to mind a vision of pilled fabric with roses sharply defined in the foreground. The yellow petals in the front blossom practically jump out at you, creating an illusion of depth and dimension to the entire piece.  

This mixed media oil pastel piece is framed and matted in a black shadowbox and embellished with three handmade acrylic red rosettes with gilded petal tips. It comes with a complimentary set of damage-free wall hanging hardware.  8" by 6" Mixed Media Painting, 1" deep. Oil pastel, acrylic glazing, acrylic rosettes, cardstock matting, and cotton canvas panel. The painting pops out easily for reframing.
